Hi there,

I'm so glad you're here! I'm Katie, Owner and Chief Chandler of Tried By Fire Candle Co. I founded this business in March of 2021 at my grandmas kitchen table. I have been so blessed to learn, grow, meet, grieve, celebrate, and experience in this endeavor and I would not have it any other way. I am also a wife, homeschooler, sourdough baker, artist, and virtual assistant. I paint, sing, cook without measurements, and love a good cup a coffee. This business started with my sister while chatting about being "tried by fire" in our lives.. her pottery was thrown as her coping mechanism while being in high school and losing her father to cancer. I was being tested by incurable disease and a few other heavy diagnoses.. BUT GOD.. So! I grew.. slowed down.. and now, my family and I are THRILLED to risk it all on US. I can't promise you perfect, but I can promise you every SINGLE thing is made with so much love. From my family to yours! Thank you for being a part of the journey!
